The Long History of Domestic Spying



During Monday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearings into Bush's illegal domestic spying program, U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales stated:

"President Washington, President Lincoln, President Wilson, President Roosevelt have all authorized electronic surveillance on a far broader scale."
